Moving to Chicago
The S2000 Community around Chicago is awesome
You need to let them know you're coming - particularly Luder94 - he likes to put together meets for anyone coming to Chicago
And I know there are a few people up there who daily drive their S2000's
Hopefully you can talk a few of them into coming down here for meets - they have in the past.
P.S. Yes, Chicago is frigid :brrrr:, but one helluva Rock n' Roll town!

Wow, I'm jealous. I've been wanting to move to the windy city for two years now; I just can't seem to leave Charlotte though.
Good luck up there; it's a great, big, beautiful city that demands attention. I've driven my S2000 (MY00) in Chicago in the dead of winter and it did fine but I don't think it would make a good daily driver due to the unpredictable weather. Chicago is weird like that...the climate can change in an instant.
I go up to chicago around six times a year...maybe I'll pay you and your husband a visit

Who else will be able to talk high heels and transmission fluid with equal zest?

Kalan, I wish you the best. Remember that the car brought you to the club, but you don't need the car to stay a member!
Thanks for all the well wishes! A definite yes to a Party!!!
I have so many emotions about the whole move, that I can't really sort through yet. I've met so many wonderful people here its hard to think about leaving.
Thankfully I (think) I will still be here for WTD. Actually I will be there no matter what!
Hey Jersey Girl and Smccoy- Its cheap to fly to Chicago. Let plan a girl trip: we can take a "drive" down the Magnificent Mile and try out some "shoes"

Just name the date & I'm there.
Congratulations Kalan & Brian. You'll do fine there because you are such a cool person.
Having moved countries 3 times I can tell you that it is not as bad as it looks. And having an active s2k community at your destination helps a lot (heck, I got my job here in Sydney because I went to a local cruise 4 days after arriving! ).
And while we are talking about your cool factor, how's about sending me that shirt you promised? It will make your packing easier ;-)
