Yesterday, I spent the most wonderful day with both my sons and grandson at the races at VIR.

The weather was a little threatening but only a brief spritz of rain. Temp in the upper 60s and little wind. A textbook perfect day for outdoor fun and we had fun.

I spotted one S as we came in the gate. It was an AP1 Suzuka with Virginia plates but I didn't see any more.
I wish we had hooked up. Maybe next year. I am going for sure.

 

Lee... did you run into any of my knucklehead buddies from Carolina Nissans? They were all camping up there.

I saw a bunch of campers but none of them looked like knuckleheads.

I'm afraid if I had yelled out "knuckleheads",I might have missed the race

 

I wanted to go, but I just could not make it work out.
