Nc Highway Patrol Question
My wife called me from eastern NC yesterday evening. She met a state trooper who turned around and pulled her over. His reason for stopping her was that "her seat belt was not fastened properly."
Maybe we're just stupid here in VA, but she is a born and bred TARHEEL, and we don't know but one way to fasten a seatbelt. She was so upset, she didn't ask him how to fasten it "properly".
No ticket, just a "verbal warning". What kind of
is this?
BTW, for you NC guys, she is from Johnston County, so maybe she doesn't know how to buckel a belt!

I was born in Smithfield. Johnston county is home to the BEST barbeque in the world, bar none!
(Wifey is from Selma...that's a suburb of Smithfield)
You know NC Highway patrolmen are interesting. A few days ago I got pulled over on I-485 (top down, freshly washed) by an unmarked highway patroman. He hardly said two words to me when I handed him my license and registration. He told me I was going a "little fast" but never said how fast. When he handed me back my license/registration he said "have a good night." No "slow down please" or "this is just a warning."
