Hey everyone,
I have been looking on here for a few weeks now but i havent seen anybody doing much in NC. I saw one thing in Charlotte but that is like 5 hrs from me and i cant drive that far during the week. I am stationed in Jacksonville, NC and i dont think there will ever be one here but is there any S2000 get togethers around the Wilmington area?

 

Semper Fi guy, There is not much activity in this part of the state. There are a few owners in the Wilmington area and they get quite active when the weather turns warm

I am in Rocky Mount/Wilson area.

ORRAH! Hey thanks, i have to get used to this. I am from South Florida where there is always something going on. I see some S2000's every now and then but and if i do have a chance to talk to them they are usually pretty ricer and have no idea about the whole JDM theme. Yeah i will check that out. Do you know of any good AEM tuners in that area?

haha i havent really been there before, i just drove by it. but i take your word for it. So really the only place in NC that stuff goes on is Charlotte?

 

We get together in the Triad occasionally (Greensboro) but I dont think thats any closer for you.

 

What days do you guys usually go?

 

We used to have meets in that area up to last year when everyone moved away from there. You will just have to get used to being like every other S2000 owner in the Carolinas sans the Charlotte microcosm and take a drive to a meet. If you think about it though..... we bought the car because it IS such a joy to drive.......... so it can be a win/win........ just all how you look at it!

i am on that list! I'm aaron (non s2ki but has a silverstone). I didnt make that meet though. I love to drive the S2k, thats not the problem. The deal is that i am in the Marine Corps and there is only a certain amount of distance that i am allowed to go from the base on a normal weekend. Its ridiculous. I knew Tyler though. I bought his OEM spoiler off of him + i traded my covertable cover thing. I met him when i first got the S2k. Didnt he join the coast guard?

 

You might bump into Vroom or Daytona Don in your area. Daytona Don lives in Hampstead.
