Congrats, BTW.

St. Marten/St. Martein was a great spot for our honeymoon 1 year ago this June. It is half French & half Dutch... crystal blue water... reasonably priced.

My other fav is Cabo San Lucas Mexico... can be as laid-back or as wild as you want it.

Cabo is my favorite relaxing beach destination. Our last trip we rented a jeep and drove around the cape (you guessed correctly- I drove ). The scenery was exquisite and complete solitude (perfect for honeymooners )! We found a fantastic place to stay called Hotel Bahia Los Frailes. It is owned by an American woman who is a fantastic chef, and the hut/rooms were very nice. It is in a quiet cove, near a great diving area. The website is www.losfrailes.com if you want to check it out.

If you want to do the Euro thing, head to eastern Europe, your best value (avoid the Czech Republic- too touristy). Not a lot of luxury but fabulous nonetheless.

Sandals is not my style, but I know a lot of people who went and were not disappointed. They loved the fact that it was all inclusive, and lots to do when you need a break from swimming, sunbathing and drinks with umbrellas!

Have fun and lets us know where you go.

You would enjoy the Grand Teton, Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, and the 4 corners region of the Southwest. September is a good time to go because the tourist season is coming to an end. The weather would be great.

PEACE and safe

Morocco would be a fantastic honeymoon destination, but only if you are looking for exotic and adventure. You walk into another world that completely assaults all your senses making it exciting and scary at the same time. Its also cheap, cheap, cheap. For example we took an 1 1/2 hour cab ride from one town to another and it was $30.00. That included the "agent" fee as well. Beautiful beaches too.

Sandals Negril
The Sandals commercials make it look goofy, but it was amazing.....hopefully I can retire there one day (Negril, not Sandals )
