Default Need Help installing I.C.E. for an '06

Hey Triad members,
I'm getting a complete system from John and need help installing it. The system includes door speakers, sub and sub box, amps, and a HU with Ipod nano speed cable.

Can anyone help a newbie out? I want it done right the first time, so installation experience would be great.

Thanks,

Tomas

Well, where I come from, installing I.C.E. means putting gold teeth in your mouth.

Lucky you, I'm in Greensboro and can help. Do you have a garage where we can properly tear your car apart, or are you at an apartment complex?

If you need any help I can lend a hand I just finished a system in my S this past winter, with new door speakers and 2 amps with a sub. I did all the work myself and can help with somethings.

dynomat is expensive, I woudl check and see where all the rattles and noise is going to be first there might be ways of fixing it with it costing you an arm and a leg.

Dynomat is used as a sound proofing stuff, not so much as a rattle fixer. Dynomat if you decide to buy it would work well in the front, in the door speakers to drown out some sound from the road.

Tomas,
While Dynomat is a good idea, it's rather expensive. I've used this stuff in the past with great success:

Dynomat is a bit expensive, but if you cut it into tiny sections rather than using the whole sheet or big chunks of it in spots it is quite effective. Just have to know where the troubled spots are and it should be fine.

My issues are the door sills back by my shoulder and my license plate, but I don't have a lot of power.
