Need Recommendations Shocks
I have just received my Koni Sport shocks and am anxious to get them installed.
I have talked to local shops in the Rocky Mount and Wilson areas but leave with the feleing they have limited experience or no experience on the S. Since this is my baby, I want to feel comfortable about leaving her in others hands.
Anyone here have any experiences with a good shop for that purpose?
I would prefer something within a 50 mile radius of Rocky Mount or Wilson.
Thanks.

Do the install yourself or find someone here on the board that can help. Nobody is going to care about your car more then you do! The only way to get that level of service is doing it youself. The shock install is not a bad job and can be done by a person with not a lot of experience.
PS...are you getting new springs also?

The springs I am running are Eibach with 1 inch drop.
Why does it look menacing? Because the top bolts are hard to get too? It is really not that bad.I just unbolted the crossbar to give me a little more room. Also, having the Eibach springs just makes the whole install even easier since you don’t have to use a spring compressor.

Another thing that makes the driver rear easier to get to is unbolt the three bolts that hold the fuel filler neck in place (located at the gas cap) and i bolt behind the trunk carpet and just pull the fuel filler out of the way. Takes 2 minutes and makes that side MUCH easier. I've changed shocks twice and that made all the difference.

i've done springs, oem replacements and coilovers on atleast 10 or 15 s2000's. honestly its not worth the couple hundred bucks ur gonna spend with someone who, the majority of times, doesnt give two shits about your car. just rent the spring compressor tool from advance auto for like 30 bucks and do it yourself.
and its been my experience that the rears are easier. but thats just me. i do have really long skinny girl fingers.
