I just moved to Charleston from NY and it's awesome down here, I just had a question about the local rain...it seems like everytime it rains or dew condenses heavily on my car it leaves horrible water marks. I assume it's due to being near the ocean (salt). Other than washing my car every other day is there any way to avoid this? Thanks!

Honestly you probably aren't going to be able to avoid the water marks. My S stays in the garage most of the time but when I do get caught in the rain I just have to wash it.

We have a few members down there who may have better advice for you.. I am sure ocean spray does contribute, as does the dust and other contaminants from the plants too.

I see alot of S2k's driving around but nobody I know. I can always identify one guy cause hes sporting an invidia. Saw a girl driving a Seabring the other day, I've seen many NFR and two GPW's with red and black.

Do any of you live in Summerville? I was sitting at a red light and a guy in a Silverstone came up behind me. He turned at the light. I didn't get a good look at the car but he did have some kind of exhaust. Any of you guys?

 

No, the invidia one is silverstone if we are thinking of the same car. Depending on where the siting was, the yellow one you saw might have been me. I have a comptech exhaust...
