Default New Arrival in Wilmington

I just moved to Wilmington from Connecticut in the last week, and must say that both my S2k and I are very happy to be here.

I am looking for advice and opinions from S2k owners in the Wilmington area on where to bring my S2k for service. I am out of warranty and in addition to my spark plugs misfiring, my S2k needs a full service/maintenance. Like many of you I baby my S2k (not on the road though) and do not want to bring it to any old service place, Honda or otherwise (I have heard some horror stories). And so a recommended dealer, technician or service garage that is trusted and used by existing owners here is a huge help and relief.

Need to renew my membership and look forward to attending some of the Carolina events. The Carolina club seems really well organized from the threads I have read.

Welcome to the warmer south...you will especially appreciate the winter months, here.

Check out your fellow Wilmington-onian 'MyBad', he should be able to answer a lot of your questions.

Welcome!

MyBad and VFROOOM are a couple of the active S2k members also located in paradise (as MyBad calls Wilmington). They should be able to point you in the right direction.

We also have a small Dragon event coming up November 11 through 14. The Dragon is a must do for every S2000 and owner. Join us if you can.

My Friend owns BNT performance in Wilmington. They mostly work on domestics (mostly vetts) and other "high end" cars. I had my Flywheel and clutch installed on the S there. They did a great job and shop is very clean. prices are reasonable. If you wanna check them out here is their # 910-763-7978, tell them Tyler sent you.

Thanks all for the welcome. I will PM MyBad and Vroom for their dealer recommendations and also give BNT Performance a call.

jman,

Sorry for the late response. I've been away for a few days.

I just don't trust ANYONE to work on my baby. I've done all the maintenance in the Bad Cave or with HOTRODS2000 at his garage. Why don't you call me and let's see if your maintenance issues are do-able in the Bad Cave.

For what its worth, if I had a problem that I couldn't solve, I'd take my baby to Inter-Shop. They only work on imports and have consistently done excelent work in MyBride's Jag.

I'll PM my digits. Call me any time.

And a big fat WELCOME to Wilmy!

Bad

Jman,
We can do most major maintenance on the S. I have a lift that we can use almost any time. Give me a call and we can figure out what you need. Rod Smith.
