Does anyone know how much the 30k mile service is at this new dealership?
Is it for the S? If so, I can call them on Monday for you to see.

Today is Monday Deiger! I called the number listed above and when they transferred me to the service department I got an answering machine

Yes, is is for my S. And it's a few thousand miles overdue too

Just an update, Honda of Lake Norman charges $285 for the 30k service. It seemed like Hendrick in Hickory and Everhart in Statesville were more in the $325ish range. Just FYI.

wow hendrick on s. blvd told me the 60K service was 350. and the parts manager told me while they don't offer any club discounts, they will match the price of any part that another new honda dealer charges.

Wow! Looks like you will have to travel to Honda of Lake Norman to get parts. I will be heading over next week to get new clips, wheel fenderwell covers, cabin filters, and various other items for my S. Also the Accord needs a brake fluid change.

Just to give you an update to this thread. I have not so positive comments about my experience at Honda of Lake Norman.

After my first visit to Honda of Lake Norman I was very positive about my experience and now after my service was finally completed, not so happy!

In the short version:
I had a problem with my AC unit in my Accord. It was diagnosed in West Palm before I left, then I went to Honda of Lake Norman to have it repaired. I have full coverage on a extended warranty. However, it took Honda of Lake Norman 3 weeks to determine this, I did it in 5 minutes by calling the 1-800 number and my previous dealership. Then took them another 3.5 weeks to order the parts for my car. Then they said they have no experience working on an '04 Accord that it might take them awhile to fix it. Three days in fact to fix it. This was exascerbated by them not having a part delivered next day for a Saturday delivery. To top it all off, they would not even refund me my initial inspection fee that I paid on my first visit because they couldn't verify my extended warranty coverage. We then went to pick up the car and it took them the better part of an hour to check us out and give me my car back. No "Thank you for your business or Sorry for all the mixups" comments were made.

To end I will just say, this has probably been the worst experience I have had at a Honda dealership since my first Honda I purchased in 1990. Please don't get me wrong on this, I am not one to talk badly about a dealership or a business, but I felt obligated to mention something due to this thread being made. This dealership has only been opened since November 2005. In my opinion they certainly have some improvements to be made before I will return. In regards to the parts discount they are still offering at my last check for all local pickup only!!

I will be in search of a new dealship to get my needs take care of, on to Concord Honda and / or Crown Honda. I know Sheila and Ron love Crown Honda. Anyone with experience at Concord Honda?

I love hendrick

My friend just started working as a mechanic at crown. if you need to stop there for work the mechanic's name is Sean. Ask for him to work on your car. He's worked on and owned Hondas for some time now.
