Hello everyone. My name is Joe and I'm from Burlington, NC. I just picked up my new car last night, a 2003 GPW S2000. I had planned on buying a Subaru STi for the better part of a year, but about a month ago I test drove this S2k and it lurked in the back of my mind since. When I went by the dealership last weekend to take another look and found they had marked the car down even lower, I couldn't resist the temptation.

I still have my old car for driving around town. Its a 95 Ford Probe GT with many problems, yet it still keeps going and has been mostly reliable in the near 4 years I've owned it. The S2k will be my weekend/fun car and also for whenever I feel like not having a roof over my head.

My plans are to keep the car stock for a while. Not only because I want to autocross it in AS, but also because I probably won't be able to afford many things worth getting, haha.

I look forward to meeting anyone local, though winter isnt exactly the best time to enjoy these great cars.

Congratulations on the new car. You definitely got the best model year!

The color on the other hand... well, let's just say that may not produce the best results in those autocrosses. Silverstone is by far the fastest.

Don't listen to these morons. GPW is a great color, almost as good as Spa.

Welcome
