Goodness didn't mean to steer up so much angst.

Nevertheless, it would be in everyone's best interest to stop and consider that any one of us could be "the other guy". Sometimes it does happen to you or me.

The best can make mistakes and loose control. Just be careful and aware that none of us are above making such mistakes.

Humility is best learned without wrecking your car.

Here is the quote from my insurance bill I recieved this month...

Mulder, that really does suck, 16 year old drivers or not. Mind telling us which company did this?

I was surprised how small an increase I saw for insurance over my 99 VW -- same coverages, and on a car with much higher value. I sure hope the rest of us don't get one of your letters.

They are good though.. and besides... one more month to 25! I already have a 150 deduction for a second vehicle and 150 for a clean driving record.

Mulder: One month to 25 and counting - great. Let's just say that I am a bit, no way past, 25, which is why they probably leave me alone on rates. I've been with State Farm for 20 years. They never raised my rates when two of my daughters managed to total their cars in at-fault accidents.
