Default Nice, romantic restaurants in Charlotte?

I dig the Melting Pot, Cheesecake Factory, and Magianos. What else is there? I need a place that's relatively quiet, not seafood, and very romantic for a special ocassion. Small places are fine, around ~$80-100 for two is a good range. No taco bell. Any Ideas? Thanks!

How about Sullivans? It's downtown and has cozy corners and a jazz bar. It fits right in with your price range.

Rule out the Cheesecake & Magianos.....romantic they are not
Melting Pot is very nice, but go on an off-night.....Mon-Thurs
If you enjoy Italian, I would recommend Campania.
Steak.....I'd recommend my restaurant (Sullivan's), but it's probably not going to fit the 'quiet' criteria so try McIntosh's
The patio at Sole(Spanish fare) is very romantic....again, go on an off-night.
If you're looking for another type of cuisine or a certain area of town, I can probably narrow it even further.

Of course she's hot!

Great info, I'll check those out. It will probably be during the week, or next weekend. Still not sure. It's gotta be quiet enough for her to hear me propose!

Keep the ideas flowing. Thanks a bunch!

That's great! I toyed with my wife a little to keep her guessing when I would propose.

We tried Sole looking for Tapas a few months ago and it was a great place. I don't know if there are any other tapas style restaruants in Charlotte, but the ones I have visited in other cities add a bit of excitement to the dining process as it lets you experiment with different dishes and not commit to an entire entree.

It may serve as a bit of a security blanket and lighten the mood a little if you happen to be a bit distracted that evening.

For Italian, Villa Antonio on South Blvd. is great!
