Default oem red vs. black seats

i have a guy that contacted me thru carolinahondas.com wanting to trade me his oem black seats for my oem red seats with $400 to boot. is this a good idea? i am also not sore how the black seats will look with my b&r interior... im sure it wont be bad due to the interior already being 2 tone... any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

thanks,
eric

Personally, I'd keep the red seats, especially if they are OEM with the car.

I picked up a set of 2007 red/black seats (20k miles) without trade. The asking price was $850 I think.

$400 with trade more than makes up for the color. Black won't look bad at all and you will $400 in your pocket....

^ Things that make you go Hmmmmm..... With all the stolen seats that have been reported, I think you are right to insist on verification of authenticity.

'06 seats do not have the donut hole in the headrest and are contoured slightly differently. to me, they are a bit more comfortable, but I know folks who prefer the AP1 seats as well.

To me, with a SN as low as you have, it would be a shame not to keep the stock seats in her. But, that's just me.
