Thumbs up An oil question

To make a long story short, I need to change the oil in my car BAD. My financial matters at the moment are restricting me to how much I can spend on the oil change. I switched to synthetic blend since I have a lot of miles on my car... I was wondering if it would be ok to use just regular Mobil 1 oil or would there be any side effects?

No side effects. Did you have any issues before you switched to synth? How miles do you go between changes?

switchign back and forth is not going to hurt anything. Not changing your oil at all is doing more damage than anything right now.

That doesn't answer my question. Personally, if you have less than 10k on synth, you could just change your filter and be okay.

Synth is easily good for 10k mi or one year intervals, but you need to change the filter every 6 mo. The question is, how many miles since the last oil/filter change?

According to Honda and the oil analyses I've seen, regular dyno oil is fine for the full 7,500 mi interval or 6 months, provided you're not FI.
