Is it this Wednesday? How long do you think they will be up there?

I'd guess they'd be there for awhile seeing as they have to run a good number of cars twice. I get off work at 4 so I may just head up there after it starts if I can't get off earlier.

They will be at BMW a very short time. The schedule shows them running from 4:30-7:30pm, but each car will only get one shot at the course -- no practice laps.

Oh....I was going by what they did at all the rest of the tracks, haha.

Yeah, it's going to be the only place where they won't get practice. From Jon K's website:

"The format will be for us to pull up, make one run and then leave. No recon lap, no second chances."

Hmm sounds pretty hardcore. Thats gonna be tough on the cars, and drivers, after traveling all day and just coming from another race.

Hey, We have a 987 Cayman with a 997 3.8L X51 power package tuned by Farnbacher Loles coming to the dealer for a running issue. I will try to post pictures, from what I have been told he is in 7th place in One Lap. The car has their cams and tune on top of the Porsche X51 package. Farnbacher Loles told me a mild 400 HP on pump gas!!! I cant go to one lap, but I get to drive one of the cars!!!! !! This makes my job worth it!!!

Just got back, it was a pretty fun event. However, you really couldn't get a good view of the whole track. We were confined to a taped off portion that only allowed you to view about 1/3 or so of the track. I took a good bit of pics and videos. If I can find my dock for my camera I'll post em up.

Yep, it was pretty cool. The One Lap has pretty much JUST gotten started and did you notice how tired those guys are/were. Basically very little sleep, lots of driving and then try to concentrate and race. More hardcore that you think.
The GT-R was nice. Plenty of M series cars. There was a white M5 running that sounded and looked mean. The Subies look to be tough competitors also.
