Default Picked up a daily driver

I got a great deal for a 2000 Honda Civic Si with 57,000 miles from my friend. It has fully built B20 motor that is sleeved with all manley internals and a fully built B16 head and some other nice options. The only problem is the car is not drive able because it needs a tune. I bought this car as a daily driver that will have good power and get good gas mileage compared to my thoroughbred horse being built.

After talking to a few people about my motor I realized it was built for 12:1 compression ratio and is using aggressive cams which would be great for power but too much for everday driving, that's what the S is for. Once I pick the car up today I will be looking into selling the b20 block and or the whole engine. I might use another stock b20 bottom end with my head or go with a B18B or C motor. There's just so many options with this car, it pretty nice to have lots of choices.

I will get pictures up soon because I know someone will bring up the it's a worthless thread without pictures comment. I can't blame them.

I'm sure you could still get decent gas mileage with a B20 VTEC. The B20 bottom end is just used for a little more torque. If you're going to get rid of it, I'm sure you could easily sell that whole motor and replace it with a stock B18/B16/K20 ???. The S project looks awesome BTW

Some Picks, don't mind the missing door panels doing some work to the door locks.

I won't be putting in too many mods into this car that's what the S is for. It does have some mods already like the type r rims and brakes. Skunk2 intake manifold Bdl Fuel rail which I have some 330CC injectors for, rick racing fuel regulator. The suspension is kyb fully adjustables.

The first thing I have to do is get my new parts to come in like the stock B20B motor I purchased so I can change out bottom ends. Then I will replace the buddy club stage 4 cams with some skunk2 stage 1 cams so the motor will be decent on power but good on gas for my daily driving needs. I have a P28 ecu too which I will be getting tuned so that should get me on the road soon.

Interior wise I have to get some tabs welded to the rails of my RSX seats so they can be bolted in. The back seat is also leather which you don't see to often on Civics this year. I took off the door panels to work on putting in all new window stripping and fixing the door locks which are missing a few pieces.
