Default Plastic window issues

Ok, so Ive got a new top and new plastic window (wanted glass but had to settle with the lesser). From day 1 of putting the top down I lay a towel in the fold crease in the middle of the window where the rub marks are known to occur... and Im STILL getting them!! What can I use to get rid of the marks? I plan on putting static tint on that window sometime soon, but in the meantime how do I prevent those scratches?

Well Mike.... obviously keeping the top up is the #1 way... but you could use a product like Plastix in order to take those scratches out and make the surface slicker, preventing smaller scratches from occuring. The scratches are coming from grains of sand on the towel being drug across the window as it is lowered. You could try placing a new towel back there ever 1-2 top drops in the mean time as well.

Hope this helps!
