Plastic window cleaners
I have been using Plexus to clean my rear plastic window and it frankly SUCKS!
Always leaves a film and doesn't seem to do anything.
So what to do? I used Windex! My plastic window is the cleaniest it has ever been. EVER!! It cuts right into that film and you just wipe it off.
Simply amazing.

Austin,
The problem with Windex is it has alcohol in it, which effects the chemical lubricants in the polymer window. After a period of time it will make the window brittle and cause cracking. In high temptures it will cause discoloration.
Go to Tulsa: http://www.tulsaenterprises.com/tulsaacc.html and scroll to the bottom of the page. There is a product which is very good for our application on Lexan, Plastic and Plexiglass. It's called, 210 and they sell it in kits. This stuff works well. I use it on my Goldwing!
Cheers

Novus is a plastic polish that was designed for plastic/plexiglass aircraft windsheilds. You can buy it at just about any general aviation supply house.
The thing I like best about it is they sell 3oz. bottles, two for about 6USD and they lasted me about a year. There are 3 products depending on how badly the plastic is scratched.
I've used it for about a year (number 1 & number 2) and it works great!
Good Luck

I just checked the prices on the Novus web site for the 2oz kit (product 1 & 2) and it's listed at $14.95 plus shipping.
I'd suggest that you go to your GA local airport where I'll bet you can find it cheaper. I did.

A gent in the Parts Dept at my local Honda dealer is a motorcycle enthusiast. He suggested I try Honda Plastic Cleaner, which he uses on his (Gold Wing?) fairing and windshield. I bought a can (about $8) and have been very pleased. It's like Plexus "Lite". Very easy to use and leaves almost no residue.
