Please!! Need Help With Tires
Hey guys,
Well i really need to change my rear tires for they are pretty much as bald as w1ngman.
just kidding. But either way I really need a new set of rears. THe only option I have only researched is dropping the 350 bucks and getting 2 new Potenza S02 rear ones from Tirerack.com (that price is including shipping). Did anyone here get a better deal? Whenever people asked on the board i always reffered them to tirerack, cause Honda Dealerships as well as other Bridgestone dealers rip people off big time. Does anyone know where I can get a set for a decent price? Any suggestions are more than welcome......

This may be a long shot, and others may have tried this, but in looking for parts for my little accident I had, I noticed that Honda Automotive Parts has tires in their database for the following prices:
Front: $118.24
Rear: $128.82
So, 2 new rears would cost about $260 plus shipping, whatever that would be. You may want to look into that and maybe even Hardtopguy. He's been the cheapest so far for me on all the parts I've needed!
Good luck!

If you swap the two worn front tires with each other, be prepared for horrible handling. With the tires worn on the inside, they are matching the camber angle and have created a greater contact patch as they've worn down. If you flip that tire around, what was the outside is now the inside and you've gone from having the full width of the tread contacting the road to only having a small portion of the inside tread contacting the road. Personally, I wouldn't do it.

Should be cool
. A number of owners have posted positive length-of-tire-life (without shortness of LIFE-life
) by flopping tires across wheels. Usually smart to do fronts by 15K at the latest if you want to get the most out of them and still be safe in turns, etc.
As for rears?...:HAH!:...we don't seem to have enough time to get the rears flopped before their already worn out!
