Here we go on another Wilmy adventure.
Friday after Thanksgiving
November 28
McAlister's Deli on S. College Rd. (across from UNCW)
11:30 AM
After some (leftover) turkey and cranberry sauce samiches we'll drive to Moore's Creek Battleground, a beautiful place in the Fall that's full of interesting history.
"The Moores Creek engagement is now considered by historians to have been a crucial factor in determining the early course of the American Revolution. It is called the 'Lexington and Concord of the South,' referring to the first major battles between the British and Americans, in 1775."
Moore info (get it?) can be found here.
We'll walk the battleground (a nice way to streatch the legs for an hour or so) and then go for a spirited
run on the nearby twisties.
Afterwards we'll find a relaxed, casual watering hole. 
All the Carolinas' peeps are invited.
I have two guest rooms that are available so PM me to take advantage of a free bed and breakfast.

Yes enjoy. I have already committed to working turkey day + the days before and after and I cannot back out now. I always volunteer to work on holidays so that somebody with a family can be off. I am really depressed now. But I am happy for whoever gets to go.

Count me in. As long as we are finished before 4:30 pm. I have an autocross in Charlotte the next day and we are driving up on Friday.
mmmm... somehow I get the feeling my wife won't be too interested in spending all day in the car and then driving to Charlotte... Unless the bed and breakfast is open TH night. Is it?
