Anyone know of any good places around the Raleigh area? I am thinking of getting them done in black with a machined lip.

Letsride,
I'd like to trade, but mine aren't in that great of condition. I figure the sand/bead blasting will remove minor scratches/imperfections. Where did you get yours powder-coated? I don't mind driving to G-boro. Post or email me pics of your rims. ProLific had a good pic, but now it just says "user posted image" instead of showing the image. I want the look he had in the pic, but it depends on how much extra it is to get the lip machined.

Just did a google search and found this in the Winston/G-boro area.

Powder coating

I talked with a friend of mine who fixes damaged rims. He says his friend thinks that Pipeline Powder Coating in Lexington is not only the best but the cheapest.

Talked with Pipeline on the phone today. $30-35 a wheel for colors; $45 for chrome. Sand/bead blasting is extra. They will need the rims for 2-3 days; longer if blasting is required.

I also talked with Pipeline on the phone, they quoted me about the same 30-35$ a little more if they are dirty. I think I'm going to get it done here soon maybe in a couple of weeks. I will let you guys know how it turns out

Anybody got an extra rear rim (16"OEM) laying around? I need 1 without curb damge. Scratches don't matter too much as long as they aren't too deep. I need it so I can get a full set powder-coated. Thanks.
