FYI, the stang crowd is having a dyno day on Sept. 8 at True Blue starting at 9am (Directions to True Blue: Take I-40 east from Raleigh to exit 319. Turn left onto 210. Turn left on Pleasant Coates Rd at the Texaco. Turn left on Old Roberts Rd. True Blue is located 1 mile down on right.) There'll be cobras and a couple vettes, thus far, and only some are participating while others are coming to hang out. The slots are largely filled, but there may be time for a couple s2ks to get in some pulls ($60/3 pulls) (info available from tshan@nc.rr.com, one of the cobra guys). At the very least, it'd be a chance for a get together and opportunity to learn about the dyno process (which I'm also interested in learning more about). I'll be bringing the viper, and may see about some pulls as well. Afterward, the plan is to drive up to the Hooters in Raleigh for lunch.

I might be able to get there for that. I am sure that I can find something business related in Raleigh to get someone to pay for the miles.

Here's the # for True Blue also (in case of problems with directions which I copied from the cobra guy, haven't been there myself yet): (919) 661-0200

Since I've never been to a dyno, I figured it'd be a good chance to learn about it, and maybe set up an s2k dyno day sometime thereafter, esp. for those who are going to get superchargers, since you should do a dyno run before and after to see what you've gained...

Any of you frequent the Ale House off of Wake Forest Rd?

Came out one night after shooting some pool and was like "Hey a silver one!"

I proceeded to climb into the Taurus/626/Focus/Mustang/whatever rental car I had that week.

Cheers,
josh

LOL! How about a ride instead?

BTW, even if the slots are filled up, it's probably a worthwhile learning experience, or at least that's my plan.
