Is anyone here going to the NASA event at Rockingham this weekend? I am thinking of attending since my son is in HPDE 1 with his FC.

If some in the S2K forum are going, it will probably be another reason for me to go. I will be doing parade laps but since no roll bar, I can't run the event.

 

I wish I had 20K to throw away I would flip my car and prove to those f'ers that my stock rollbar is good enough...

 

BTW-what are parade laps? and is anything going on friday night? I am off...

 

NC Region - SCCA is also doing a 2 Day Performance Driving Experience at Rockingham on July 29/30. Unfortunately, I am also stuck without a ride because of the roll-bar rule.

I could run if someone will let me borrow their S2000 hard-top tho. anyone??

 

Nothing Friday except tech inspection of the participants.

Sat and Sun parade laps. a pace car leads you around the track at moderate speed. Anyone can play. They try to keep you from falling back and taking a run. Its kinda fun if you want to get familiar with the track.
