Interesting list of recent cars that may become future classics. I have a friend with the Crossfire, it is nice, but not my cup of tea.

 

I think the Solstice coupe is atrocious and the Crossfire is one of the stupidest cars around, but the other three are great cars! I can see the Solstice coupe being a collector because of its limited production, but not the Crossfire.

 

I think the srt6 may have been a more limited production than the solstice. They have an AMG driveline but the crappy automatic trans is a huge turnoff for most people. On a side note I've been telling people that the S2000 will be the next Supra on the market for a couple years now.

 

No way the Crossfire makes it. You can't solely say it will be a classic based upon limited production....it's still an ugly car (and most people will tell you the same)

I had a MB c32...AMG car with that same engine and trans. The car pulled like a freight train but I hated the auto so much that I sold it. That and it was constantly breaking.

 

Fwiw I've only seen 2 SRT6s in my day. They're rare but don't have the collector car potential that the S2000 does imo.
