There is another member here that swears by Gibsons in Burlington (parkerdt). I have seen some of there work and it is excellent.

As part of the repair cost you might want to budget for some better tires. I don't think that Fuzion ZRi plus cold wet roads is a good combo. If you are going to own this car buying good tires is part of it. Most cars it doesn't make to much difference, but on this car it is very important.

Good luck.

I am sure if you PM Dave (parkerdt) he can fill you in on Gibsons.

^^ That's how I found out about Gibsons, through Dave, albeit on the "other" S2000 forums. They did some fantastic work fairly quickly, and were really easy to work with.

I hope you don't have any suspension damage. That front wheel scuff looks pretty bad.

I am hoping I did not effect the suspension neither. I jacked it up and the only damage I physically could see is the fender dent, and the wheel chip. The steering wheel sits pretty far to the right when driving down the road and the passenger side wheel (damaged one) points in a little bit. The alignment is off for sure but I can deal with that.

The guy at the body shop I went to does some really good work I have heard. He quoted me $450 which includes the $75 alignment, I thought that was a pretty good deal. He said there was another dent on the panel but I think that was there before so he is going to fix that too. He warranties all his work, it must be perfect for my standards this is my baby

Thx guys for the kind words and recommendations. Burlington is 1.5 hours for me which is a lil to far but for a big project I will keep that in mind.

I've had my Ap2 "snap" too, trying to be cute. I corrected the snap but I banged a curb on the other side ot the road when I ran out of room. 7 grand in suspension damage. It doesn't have to be a hard hit to bend everything up.

So there you have it two for Frank Gibson! I won't let another body shop touch one of my cars, and Frank has now worked on 4 Ss that I know of. He's a real craftsman.

7 grand? Dang what do you run for suspension? Did you have to change everything including the wheels?

I don't mean to be the bearer of bad news, but if the alignment is as out as you say it is, don't be surprised if you've bent something in the suspension. Of course, I hope you haven't, but certainly get it checked out on an alignment rack. Wheels have a lot of mechanical leverage against tie rod ends, control arms, and that sort of thing, and as someone else already said, it often doesn't take a really hard impact to tweak something.

Best of luck.

We are not trying to "scare" you (or your wallet). Just make sure the car is ok to be driven safely and you don't end-up in another situation for not having it checked.

Thx guys for all the input. The steering wheel is at the 3-4 oclock from the center. The car drives strait down the road even with the steerign wheel messed up. The guy is going to get it aligned for me, hopefully everything is ok.

I will get her back in 3 days if all is well, il post pics of the work.
