S2K Talk & Tech
Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Andrea and my husband and I have owned our 2003 S2000 for 2 years now. We have custom painted her as well as given her aftermarket rims, an upgraded suspension and some minor engine mods. We live in the Triad and only have 1 other S2000 owner that we know in the area.
My husband is the President of our car club, Committed, and I am the Road Captain (basically travel/show coordinator.) We also administer the Facebook group S2K Talk & Tech. If you are not a member already, please join the page. https://www.facebook.com/groups/383289408426518/

Welcome to the site. Those are some big-ass rims! Have you done anything performance-wise to the car? I know its a show car, but I think I see a bone-stock engine bay under there! Time to get showy with an intake setup or something!
Thanks for joining the FB page! And thank you for the welcome! We are working on doing all of our exterior modifications first since we are primarily using her as a show car (and are still paying her off.) Once we have finished making payments, we will begin saving for a supercharger as well as some other engine mods. We had an intake on her but the piping was too small and actually hindered her power. This winter, our next major modification will be wrapping the car, the paint job looks good in pictures but there are a lot of imperfections in it that we can't fix so we're going to cover it up. After that, we are doing a custom trunk with subs and amp.
Welcome where about the triad are you?
I am in greensboro we have a few handfuls of S's around the city but mostly all older drivers. I havent found anyone who really knew much about the car. I wave but others rarely wave back.
it kinda sucks, my SRT crowd was like a family, and now it seems everybody is just another honda owner.
