Since I joined the forum a few years back I noticed a good amount of people I met at meets didn't utilize the forum very often and would occasionally miss out on events in SC. With nearly everyone having a smartphone and a facebook page, I was inspired to create "SC S2KI Contacts" facebook page in order to keep those folks informed of meets and giving people a means of contacting each other in times of need (lost on way to event or car trouble).

Unfortunately it began to detract from S2KI as people found it easier to simply post on that page instead of here. This prompted me to take S2KI out of the name and just have it named SC S2000's and me asking people to use the forum. Upon that still not working and the group becoming clique-ish I decided to take it a step further. Now I present to you, S2KI Carolinas News Feed!

Being that many events take place within a few hours of each other in NC and SC I decided to throw it out there for everyone in The Carolinas. This page will be used SOLELY for highlighting events and important posts within the Carolinas. I have taken it upon myself to moderate this page to keep it strictly a means of getting people to S2KI in case they don't use the forum much. I will do my best to post the link to any meets that show up in this forum.

Please look up the group if you would like to be a part of it. I have found it as a great tool to keep in touch with other members outside of The Carolinas page and has allowed me to develop a close relationship with some members that may not have been previously possible.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give me some feedback and suggestions on this, I'd love to make it a better place and especially get people utilizing our Carolinas Forum on this site!

Completely agree... I have never seen so much drama over such a simple thing lol... Scott you have done an awesome job keeping the peace throughout the Carolina's...
