I am seriously considering making this trip. Anyone else interested?

It looks like about a 4 day ride out, 2 days to goof around at various places, and 4 days back. It would not be a race, but a pleasurable trip taking in sites along the way. Granted, it is around 2,400 plus trip for us. More with some of the potential stops (The Dragon, Las Vegas...). There may be a track event as well.

Once in a lifetime, let's do it. Who's in?

That sounds like a lot of fun...but that's a lot of miles on my car (assuming I take it). You see...at least you have a truck; you could tow your S2000 to Cali

I'll wait for the next Dragon run b/c I have yet to slay the Dragon.

 

Only 2400 miles? I put that on my S2K these past couple of weeks during my trip to Florida. I can't imagine anything less than 4K from NC to CA and back.

 

2400 miles one way. You are right, it is 4800 plus for the round trip. That's from Charlotte.

 

Who's gonna haul all the extra S-02's we'll need to make it there and back?

I am really getting excited about this trip! What an adventure it will be.

Just because airhorn is flying, doesn't mean we have too. Flying to a car club event is kinda like showing up to a gun fight with a knife.

Wow! What an adventure that would be! Ron and I were seriously talking about going to the West Coast S2k Days that never happened in '02. We talked about shipping the car out and driving back, but when we found out the $$$ required to ship....well, that put the brakes on that trip!

Although it sounds amazing, the time off just isn't feasible this year. Tempting, though.......
