SAD SAD DAY!
It is hard to even understand what happened. It has only been about 3 hours since the wreck happened. I was driving north bound on 85 heading towards Greenville from Atlanta. I was about 3 miles past the commerce drag strip exit, when the back end of my car became real loose. It felt like a tire had gone down. But after inspecting the lay of the road I believe I hydroplaned. I was going 70 mph in the left lane on a straight road. The back end came loose and then began to kick side to side as I tried to save my baby. My left rear tire caught the dirt which spun me a total 360 into a concrete drainage ditch, which I slide through and across into the woods, chopping down all small trees on my path. The big tree that stopped me caught my car on the right front headlight. Where it deflected and spun me the other direction back towards the ditch. I unbuckled steped out the car un harmed. But my poor car! She is gone RIP!
Future plans are to buy the car back for the drivetrain and shoe horn it into my 1960 Austin Healey Sprite.
PS Sorry for the crappy typing. I am very tired and sick to my stomach! But I am OK!

The tree that stopped me

Snapped upper control arm!!

She Was running after I stopped!!

Where the tree hit!

Good thing I did not have the RPF1's on! Bar is comming out tomarrow!
Sorry to hear of your loss. I'm sick for you. Hate to see an S in that condition. Good to hear you walked away unscathed.
....but now that I know you're okay, give me a price on the cusco roll bar, cusco front and rear chassis braces (provided they're still in good shape, of course), and RPF1's!!!

Unless he plans to get another S too (which isn't a bad idea).
Wow...busy day for you man! Very unfortunate... Any pics of the rear tires? When its wet out, I don't ever drive my S more than 60 or so...even with NEW tires, I've never felt comfortable driving the S2000 in the wet.
Best of luck getting everything situated...
