It only took me 6 months to find my secret compartment. I only found it when I was reading a book on the s2000 and noticed it on the pictures. I said to myself,"THat must have been only in the prototype." I went out to my car and lo and behold!

You ain't the lone ranger! I bought the "S" w/ 2300 miles and it didn't have an owners manual. So I ordered the manual and then I found out about the "secret compartment" from reading a post on this board. So I rush to the garage and open it up, I just knew the original owners manual would be inside... but No owners manual (thankfully, I guess) since I spent $49 for a new manual.

Also found out from this board about the spring spacers that are often NOT removed by the dealer after shipping. Sure enough I stioll had one in the right front.

This board is both fun and informative.

Have a great day!

Five MONTHS after I owned the car, my husband found a thread on the secret compartment, and smugly told me "I know something about your car that you don't know!"....then proceeded to show me. I was both thrilled and pissed. ARRGGGH!

Anyway, welcome to the club!
