Default Smoked lights?

Has anyone ever smoked their headlights and/or tailights on an S2000? I recently saw one down in Atlanta during the NOPI Nationals and wondered if anyone here has ever smoked theirs or knew anyone who has. If so, how much does it impair the headlights?

Don't do it!! I tried smoking some lights a few years back and had a headache for a week! Stick to smoking something natural.

Am I the only one that read it that way?

Gee, I guess I was hoping to get a somewhat serious answer but I guess that the S2KI.com rumors were true. It's a real shame though.

Have seen some spray on stuff! I'd be very carefull with what you put over your headlights. These HIDs run very hot!!! I have the smoked Diffusers and Smoked side markers and It looks great!! Just Pm if you need a pic.

Good luck,
Perry

And I know juuuuuuuust the guy that could do the install for him ...

Seriously on Perry's caution...I've seen neat work done with generic static tint. BUT I've also seen that tint cause "heat cracks" (fine cracks along the top edge of the headlight assemblies) because the heat was trapped more than the headlights were designed to take. So keep *that* alternative...and its precaution...in mind if you were to receive suggestions of tinting.

...now, about those smoked diffusers ...

I think the smoked tailights I saw was on a white S2000. I don't think it had smoked headlights, I was just curious about that idea. Mugens2003, do you have a pic of your car?
