So Friggin Aggrivating
Ok, a few weeks ago when i was at the raleigh capital club i tossed the keys to the valet guy, the one that has always taken my car so i had no problem with him takin my car...i come to get my car drive home no problem...next day im cleanin my car look at my right front wheel, and half the wheel is curbed like no tomorrow....i about lost it
make a long story short, i called up the manager, they said unless their is proof they caused the damage they are not responsible.. hence the disclaimer "we are not held responsible to any damage occuring to your vehicle" so now i need to find someone to refinish/powdercoat or whatever its called? anyone around here do that and how much for 1 wheel, all wheels? thanks

Here is who cknebusch recommended I use. I think this guy did his wheels and I am getting mine done by him in June (I called the guy last Thurday and he is one vacation until then). He also suggested I drop it off at Crown Honda (he goes there once a week to do this kind of work)

valets are scary
scarier when you forget to turn your turbo timer off for them
in any case, ask them if you can park it up front for 10 bucks or so
i dont valet much, but i dont mind shelling out 10-20 bucks to keep my car up
front out and out of dum dums hands

Yeah, that sux. W/ regards to the wheel guy, let him take a look, but just keep in mind that i had minor scraches. If your wheel was curbed like you describe, I would be he will reccomend you to refinish the wheel. From what I understand that takes time.

Your other option is to peruse the for sales and find a pair cheap. If u decide to stick w/stock now. Good luck either way.

Yea my wheel got whacked pretty good, id say the deepest is maybe 1 or 2 mm's...i was going to have them refinished if need be and then powdercoated black, or painted black or whatever... how much would that run me?
Powdercoating will run about 100/wheel. That was the price I was quote by Triangle coatings. Also, ugotmade, just had his wheels coated black. They look really good. There is a thread with his pics. The title is "Getting wheels powdercoated"

I have the Oz's and love them. Should be able to get around $500-$600 for the old wheels with tires. I bought my Oz's used with tires for $1100
