So I've had a little bit of a catastrophic meltdown and I'm expecting the majority of the engine to be unrecoverable. Anyone got any lines on engines in the nearby area? haha

 

I've got a spare head and block. I suspect that the crankshaft is damaged in it. If you want a drop-in ready engine, send a PM to davgoat. He buys wrecked s2000's and parts them out. I've bought an engine, and lots of other parts off of him over the years. He's someone you can trust.

Lol, well I wouldnt do some sort of K swap, but I'm very interested in rebuilding as a 2.4L "stroker"

 

There is a junk yard in shelby nc a friend of mine gets good deals on honda parts including s engines and other parts. last time i checked he quoted me on a f20 with low miles was around 3500$. don't know what your looking to spend, but it dosen't hurt to call. good luck with your delima.
