my car will have more down time due to delay after delay of deliveries of important items...
i have camshafts but no valve springs....

i just learned yesterday that my order never went through to the authorized vendor after 1 month of waiting... now im going to be part of the current waiting list.....
i dont understand some businesses.....
i ordered my valve springs from bulletproof automotive cause i wanted to support the sponsors of s2ki.com after the order was taken i called 2 weeks later asking where my valve springs.... they said they need to pick them up from their dealer. the following monday past and i called again no valve springs.. they said the springs werent in from japan... i called akh trading they said they have in stock...i call bulletproof and they said they'll have it shipped out... i called 5 days later no package arrived i asked for free ground shipping. its been 5-6 business days tommorow... so we'll see what happens tomorow.
as for the supercharger payment was sent also the crankshaft pulley so now i cant go drive my baby.................

Man, I hope you get it all resolved and tuned, by the 30th Auto-X. I want to see & hear that thing run!

FWIW, I'd start sending faxes to these people now. You're out-of-sight-out-of-mind as soon as you hang up if you just call them.

A fax document with all of the order info/dates and follow-ups historically noted, puts them on notice that you are not screwing around. Not only that, it lands in someone's In-box and they have to move it!

Hey Mike,

Sorry to hear about your frustrations. I hope you can get things resolved before the autox on the 30th, but it sounds like you still have a long road ahead of you.

Good Luck,

Man, I had the SAME problems with Bulletproof! I ordered my AEM EMS from them a month before I was flying a guy out of Oregon to come tune my car. 2 weeks after I ordered it, I called and they said it was at will-call, and they were going to pick it up and overnight it that afternoon. The next week I called and they gave me the whole "who did you talk to? Our EMS systems are on backorder." I told them about the guy I was flying out to tune my car, and that maybe I was wrong to presume that a company could get an order out in a month, when the item i bought said "In Stock" on their website when I ordered it. They gave me the whole "we're overnighting it tomorrow" thing again. It didn't get here in time (another week and a half), I had to buy it from another place who actually had it on my doorstep the morning after I ordered it from California. Then Bulletproof wanted to tell me they wouldn't refund the money. They said they never promised a delivery time...even though they told me they were overnighting it. I paid extra for the overnight shipping, and the guy says "we'll take care of the shipping costs." He never refunded me the money that I paid for the overnight shipping. I am really upset with them. I strongly advise everyone to not order anything from these guys. They have horrible customer service, one of the guys even cussed at me on the phone when I mentioned that two people told me they were overnighting it to me...he was giving me the "we never promise a delivery time" load of crap. Never got my money refunded and had to sell it to someone for less than i paid for it. You just don't know how mad I still am at these guys. I figured that since they were sponsors on this site, maybe I just had one bad experience, and didn't say anything. Now I see that this happens more frequently than I expected. I hope people read this thread and think twice about ordering from these guys. If you order now, you may get it by decemeber...if you're lucky. And if you do call them, be sure to ask for the name of the person you're speaking to. They never give names, and they like to pass you around and play dumb when you call back asking about the status..."who did you speak with."

Sorry, when I read your problems with them, it brought it all back.

Dave
