My friend - Mike Golus - told me this about the camera:
The camera is the Canon Digital Rebel (the first line they made, eos300). I have a Canon EF 100mm F2.8 lens for portraits. The photos were taken in RAW, no filters were used, and I did minor adjustments on a curves layer.
I almost always set the camera to aperture priority (Ap) and F2.8 for portraits.
