Default Stolen Passat

Yeah so at 6 AM Thursday morning my mom had her "new" passat wagon stolen. After her Accord got stolen, my brother and I went down to Hendrick Honda and got her a 2000 VW Passat Wagon GLX V6. It was silver with a small ding by the rear passenger side. 30 day tags were on it. The cinter console was wood grain and had the bottom little horizontal piece missing. Anyone who sees a passat wagon keep an eye out and let me know. My gun is loaded.

She had the keys in the kitchen hanging by the fridge. Whoever stole the car came into the garage, opened the kitchen door, and found the keys. Stole NOTHING else. Weird.

I live at the Arboretum apartments on the corner of providence and 51. My mom lives in Matthews, a suburb of Charlotte. I wouldn't want you to move there, anyways.

well they found it today.....dude ran out of gas and ditched it behind some house. They arrested the dude. Guess what tey found in the car? lots of cash, speaker stuff, newports, roach clips, coke, a .357 mag, a bunch of prescr. pills, hugo boss clothes, drakar noir, and a lot of rap cd's. Guess what this guy looked like?

Did a little damage to the car, still drivable. I dont want it though. it's like the car got raped. this dude has a rap sheet a mile long. I can't understand how he is not in for life..... get this:

In past 24 months:

3 stolen vehicles
9 resisting arrest
4 assault on an officer
3 breaking and entering
2 armed robbery
12 violation of probation
3 possession of cocaine with intent to sell
and many more little things..........

This dude needs to be a lifer, before I become a killer.

Wow, I think your Mom was lucky he just took the keys and split. I hope he gets put away for a long time.

I agree, get rid of the Passat, for your stated reason, and for the reason that Passatt's start to require some really pricey service and repairs after about 3 years. In most cases, VW has hidden the necessary OBD codes so that you are stuck with a dealer for repairs. Parts are one and a half to twice the price of Honda parts. I got rid of a 99 GLS to buy the S, and I am so much happier without the VW.
