I stopped by the Subaru dealer tonight... Ugh!! The poor WRX.







I could not believe that the hatch WRX is $32,000. Geezus...

Oh...and the Legacy "Spec B" was $36k and change...

 

$32k for a WRX? Thats insanity. An STi is only around $1k more. . .

And I was never all that impressed with the Spec B. Sure, its rarer, but I dont think you get a whole lot more for the $5k extra it costs over a normal Legacy GT (MSRP on a Spec B is more than an STi also).

Whatever that dealer is, I'd stay away from them. MSRP on the Spec B is $33.9k and as far as I know it shouldnt be selling even for that much.

And maybe its because I haven't seen them in person yet, but from pictures, I think Subaru is going the wrong direction in terms of styling. The pig-nose they brought in 06 was bad enough, but sort of grew on me. The new Impreza's just look so blah to me now.

 

Indeed...that price I quoted on the WRX may have been an STi, but I think I would have noticed... Gawd, that car is hideous...

 

The rear is fugly... The front I kinda like. But not as much as the 06 or the 04's...

 

Which dealer did you go to?
