I am VERY familiar with the traffic. If it takes you 10-11 hours to get to NY then you drive like grandma!

Save MONEY on your room at the Fontana Village. You all may already know about this, but if not here is a heads up. Join the Dragon Slayers Club at Fontana Village and save 25% on rooms at the inn and 15% on cabins. I just found this out when I made my reservation. So call them and tell them you want to join. I was able to get the discount applied to my upcoming stay.

My son Max (12) and I will be able to make it. I promised his mom that I would tone down the driving a bit... too bad DEIGER isn't coming.. I need a new group to drive with...

Max likes to play poker... we may not be able to compete with the cabin hosting strip twister, but if anyone wants to try to get a Friday night game together.. we're up for it.
