Thanks for all the feedback... I'll definitely relay it to David.

At first I wasn't sure how he was going to make any money with this business but after talking to him he basically just wants to break even. I think in his mind he is viewing this as a hobby.

seems interesting. it would be nice to have a few spec cars (evo/sti/s2000)for us to actually drive the track instead of just riding shotgun.
I would consider that over the instructor laps, and it would even save wear on the supercars.

also, 6 hrs mountain drive is a long time.

Dave

P.S. any s2ki discounts? my 30th is next week, might be tempted to switch plans.

This sounds like a pretty cool idea. The only problem is, I am not 25 and I am broke.

Funny...I came very close to renting a Lamborghini in Vegas...but just 3 hours ran $1,000. Still...I really, really thought about it. But in the end, fearing my only driving experience in the Gallardo would be up and down the strip with stop-n-go traffic....I declined.

A mountain tour for $1,350 sounds fantastic. I'd be really interested in taking a Gallardo or F430 for an entire weekend to the Dragon.

Just another note here...I see the mountain drive includes lunch and photos...that makes it unique. Do they offer any drives of these superb cars "unsupervised?" Sounds like they are either IN the car with you or in front of you.

Maybe this is a dumb question lol but I'm just curious.. Why do you have to be 25?

nicole, it's due to insurance reasons. same reason why they won't let you rent certain cars if you are under 25.

And they are passing a law to stop ANY rentals to people named "Andy." I'm all for it...keeps us safe.

"They" (the insurance companies) think (believe, hope, risk factored by 9) that once you hit 25, you've matured into a responsible citizen.
