Default Suzuka Blue Interior -- too much blue?

I'm planning to have my local Honda dealer get me an '05 S2000 in couple of months (when the snows depart Maine), and there probably won't be much chance to see many cars before then to compare colors. (I have seen one that I know I don't want.) I love the Suzuka Blue from what I've seen on the S2KI web site but wonder whether having a blue interior isn't ...well... a little too much blue. I'd appreciate comments from owners of these gorgeous machines or anyone familiar with Suzuka Blue S2000's. Thanks, guys.

Absolutely not. I had the same concern until I bought the car, but it's not a problem at all! It looks great.

The blue is exquisite.

I traded in my silverstone metallic for a suzuka blue; it's flashy, it's unique, and it looks great with the top down & the sun shining

Not a problem for me! I have seen posts where people are not too crazy about it. Not me. I like it b/c I did not want another car with black leather. It's too hot for me in the summertime. The blue is a very nice deep color that is very unique and goes very well with the car.

I think it's a bit too much blue, also, but I can't really think of an interior I would like more on that car. So, go for it!!

Its fine unless you have blue eyes. That just takes it over the top.

Phil, you actually just made a good funny. I am impressed, and laughing. Kudos!

As for the blue interior, depends on the person. I didn't like it until I drove a Suzuka. Once you get behind the wheel it kinda grows on you. I still like my all black better, but the blue is cool too.

Off topic why post in the Carolina forum if you are in Maine? Post in the local forum and see if someone has one you c an check out maybe...

There is no such thing as too much blue! I even have blue footwell lights! I've had many people complement me on the color.

For those that thinks it is too much you should experiment a little with maybe a black console or black floor mats or black seats, door inserts IMO.
