Default Suzuka blue seen in RTP

I just saw a brand new Suzuka blue in the parking lot at Piper's and Danny's BBQ. Anybody on this board? It's beautiful and seeing it in the lot confirmed that I chose the right color when I ordered mine.

Hey,
I just got a Suzuka Blue '02 S2000....but haven't had any BBQ in a while. I originally was thinking about getting a spa yellow one, but this one was at the dealership we went to for a test drive and I fell in love with the color. I like the blue interior too!

I say "Good choice!"

Which dealer did you get it from? I contacted all the local dealers back in March and all of them told me 8-12 weeks. I ended up ordering from Sanford in late March and I still don't have a delivery date.

My finance (she replied last night) and I actually live in Cary and were looking at the Honda dealership in the Cary AutoMall, but they wouldn't let us test drive one . So we were on our way to Sanford to talk numbers with the dealership there. The sales lady said that they were expecting a silver and red S2k in a couple of weeks.
Make a long story short.... I called up Crown Honda in Chapel Hill just to make sure they didn't have one and sure enough they had a Suzuka blue right on the showroom floor! I cancelled the trip to Sanford and we turned right around and went to Chapel Hill!
It turns out that a guy had ordered it and once it got there, he couldn't afford the payments so he backed out (and of course lost his deposit). They had if for about a week. My finance drove it.... fell in love and she drove it home that night.
We just got lucky! She was pretty skeptical about the color when I was trying to explain it to her. But once she saw it, it was all over.

Actually, the Suzuka Blue that I originally posted about was brand spanking new (can't remember, but may have still had temp tags on it) and I saw it at the Danny's BBQ in RTP at Miami and Alexander. I think that the one that belongs to the General Manager at Autopark Cary has been modified. It looks like it has been lowered, and a salesman I was talking to said that the guy was either going to or has already added nitrous to it.

I drove by there the other day, they still got his older 01' spa yellow S2000 w/ supercharger on the stand, I think they are asking like $38k for it. HA, guess no one can afford that, its been there atleast 3-4 months now that I know of.

Eddie

I don't think it is the price as much as it is that they don't offer a warranty on the car. It has been there for 8-10 months, and they won't let you test drive it.

I don't know anyone who would want to buy a modified new car without a warranty.

They are quoting that the supercharger pushes the HP's up to 340! Not bad!

The blue one in Cary that the manager drives is out of commission, evidently drooped a valve and is running on three cylinders. This started after the nitrous
