I was wondering how bad the traffic and such is around Duke? I'm driving down to interview with the plastic surgery department...any advice?

when are you coming down? I would say we can get a group together, but i don't think ral/dur has a "group" anymore, but we can grab a drink if you have some free time. Traffic on 85 in durham will be pretty bad at rush hour due to traffic, but other times and around the school shouldnt be too bad.

Generally it is not bad. I usually take 147 and come off exit Fulton road and medical enter is right around the corner. Let me know if you come down or when you do get a job. I work at Duke Clinical Research Institute!

if you're going to stay around durham, make sure you don't go out at night.........highest crime rate in the whole state.
