Ok,

Now that we have a date and location, we can put information together.

When: 2/26 starting around 12pm Noon. This will allow folks to eat lunch prior to showing up. Since there isn't a garage, we'll tentatively have a weather day of 3/5.

Where: Ron and Sheila's. If you are coming, please PM me for their address.

Now, I'm sure there will be tools available but if there's something special you need done to your car, and you have the tools, you might want to bring them. If there's something special you need and you don't have it, please post here so if someone else has the tool, they can bring it.

I've been updated with information as well. There is a floor jack available but if you need to use it, then you will need to bring your own jack stands. Also, if you're doing fluid changes, then you will need to bring your own dump container to take to the nearest Advance or Auto Zone.

Ron and Sheila have agreed to provide us burgers and dogs that evening around 5 for dinner but the rest of us will need to provide drinks and snacks. If you have a particular beverage in mind, you will need to bring it. Also, adult beverages are welcome but under your own discretion.

I'm going to need a torque wrench. I need to change my diff fluid. I'm also going to need to lower the rear coils a tad, change spark plugs, and change my top radiator hose.

 

I need a brake flush, oil change and a few minor things before WTD.

Ron and I would be happy to host and we could have a Big Deck party/cookout after. However, our driveway can only hold about 5 or 6 cars at a time for work and there's no garage, so it would be weather-dependent. More folks could certainly hang out.

We're on the south side of Charlotte, about halfway between SouthPark mall and Matthews.

We'd be available on Saturday or Sunday (preferably Saturdays) the weekends of Feb 19, Feb 26 or March 5.

 

Thanks Sheila!! How about this: We plan for February 26, with a weather date of March 5. That way, if anything happens on the 26th, whether it be rain or what have you, we have a back up day. Would that be alright?
