Default Test pipe

Hey guys, I'm just starting the mod process with my 02 S and I already have a invidia dual exhaust and am thinking about getting a testpipe. Should I get a invidia test pipe, or could I get another one and still make it work. Let me know if your getting rid of one, or want to trade it, im not sure exactly what I have as I just got my S like 4 months ago and have not checked since I got it. Please let me know your opinions and your thoughts about what route I should go.

Thanks,
Stephen

Most people get either Invidia or Berks. I have the Berks and couldnt be happier with it. I haven't gotten the CEL with it or anything yet. It's one of my favorite mods.

Hey Stephen. From what I remember, you had the Invidia V3 which is a 70mm exhaust. Ideally, you want to pair it with a matching 70mm test pipe. Berk makes a good, well priced 70mm that would work with your V3. You don't have to run a 70mm test pipe (I ran a 63mm T1R test pipe with my V3) but it just makes sense to match exhaust sizes. The test pipe should actually cut down on the drone inside the cabin, but hit Vtec, and your car sounds like an F1 car that EVERYONE can hear. BTW, I now run an Asura Design 70mm HFC to help tone the volume down a bit and get rid of the test pipe smell... Good luck!

Imo, I wouldn't get a TP at all, get a HFC.

I have the invidia 70mm. I'm happy with the sound.

In my opinion... best bang for the buck if you can stand the smell.

I just recently purchased a Invidia 70mm test pipe with CEL fix for my 2006, but check engine light came on even with adapters. Removed and wanting to sell. Less than 100 miles on test pipe. Asking $60.00

I reinstalled cat, located in Chapin, SC. Newer models are harder to fool the computer. 803-364-1975 if you need to call for more info. I will even consider installing.
