Time for exhaust
Just installed mine last night and that sucker is loud. I am running with a K&N CAI, Berk TP, and now the Invidia. Took a total of two hous for the install. I put the silencers in this afternoon to drop those db's a bit and it still is abit loud but sounds great.
OP, I picked up cat-back Skunk2 duals off this site for a little under $400 in great, great shape with silencers and hardware...
I also agree with Tidalwave about not spending your dough on a header for our cars... just my $.02 worth...

Brandon where did you get the skunk 2 exhaust? How loud is it compare to the invidia?
I'm really itching to get the invidia next month.

Haven't really driven it enough to really tell, but to me it does not seem quite as loud as an Invidia although pretty close to its looks... Just does not have the burnt tips that I wanted, but for the price I can live without them...

Surprisingly simple install too...
From my research there are advantages to every mod to the s2k, however it does fall prey to the weakest link in the chain scenario.
The steadfast rule for engines is more air in and more air out with the quickest route = more hp. S/C does put this example to the test. I have the Mugen header and most say N/A it doesn't add that much, but with the s/c I do notice more push between 4k - 6,200 (that is where the charger kicks in) and it did help me in the dyno runs, 300hp where standard s/c with stock header and stock exhaust hit 280-290hp. However, I do have a stock exhaust (for sound reason only) and that that is my weak link.
I do share the opinion of gears, having never driven a car with gears, those that have them swear by them and from 0-60mph they make a big difference all for under $1k installed.
Good luck!!!

I wish I could get my 800 bucks back from my Toda header and finish putting in my gears
IMO outside of cosmetics and weight savings the duals arent worth it if you are looking for power. The only single exhausts that are going to net you decent power are the Js and T1R 70mm designs, they actually gain about 15-18hp and only weigh around 8-10lbs or so. As far as headers are concerned , for the money just save up a few hundred bucks more and get gears... youd be happy you did!
