They don't know how to drive in NC either. I can't stand assholes in 4x4's thinking they can still drive 45+ in a 35.

I've driven in snow many times in an S - VSA helps, snow tires help, and a 50lb bag of sand in the trunk well helps, but NOTHING helps more than watching your own speed and being really aware of the idiots around you. Always have an escape route in mind.

Further north, it is a tad easier, because the snow isn't accompanied by as much ice as we usually get around here. No one can drive on ice. Powdery snow is a cakewalk by comparison. Nevertheless, still a good deal of pucker factor...

Dang I hope this one misses us.

Dave

Don't think I'm gonna drive the S in this weather. AP1=no VSA! Took me almost twice as long to get home in the TSX. Dave I agree that you have to be very precautious of those around you in these conditions.

Didn't have much of a choice. My other car is the old BMW which is RWD, the same weight as the S, with crappy tires. It's got half the HP, but more torque. Although, it's not near as sensitive (read sphincter tightening ) as the S.

So...couldn't even get out of the driveway this morning. It's a fairly steep incline going up to the road, and the poor S couldn't even make it out. The VSA worked so hard at one point the car almost choked down.

Thought I was going to be able to call out of work then...

A co-worker came and picked me up

Down here in Atlanta it wasn't too bad. VSA did kick in when I was trying to get up my driveway. Funny thing though, I have a case (8 reams) of paper that I jacked from the office in the trunk of my car.

Weight FTMFW.

Funny side story: I was over at a friends house and he and his girlfriend were parked on the small concrete slab in front of the house. So, I parked in the yard like I always do. It had rained a little throughout the day. We were inside playing Wii until about 11pm. I left and got in the S, started her up and tried to back out of the yard. After the second slip, I had to knock on the door and have my friend come sit in the trunk so I could just get the S out of the yard. It was awkward, yet very entertaining!
