Default Travers Lasik

Having it today @ 4. So if Im blind Im probably not going to make it to the meet Has anyone else had lasik surgery before? This shit's like $3400. I hope it's worth it, everyone that has had it at work said they'd do it again if they had to...so Im guessing it is.

Good luck! I hate reading about the complications that can happen from Lasik. Makes my eyes hurt thinking about it!

i had lasik about 2 months ago. procedure takes 30 mins most of it is prep time. doesnt hurt but is uncomfortable as hell. with them touching your eye and holding your eyes open that long.

1st day after sucked but was already at about 20/40 but within a week i was at 20/20

i saw a glare at night from bright lights for a while but it is gradually going away. now its not bad at all except for occasional dry eyes.

should be 100% after 6 months.

i would do it again in a hearbeat! been wearing glasses since i was 6. its so liberating to not depend on them anymore.

I heard Lasik was temporary, is that true?

Not usually. You can loose some focus long-term, but every eye does that.

We paid a little over 4k for my wife's custom lasik earlier this year. That included free touch ups for life which came in handy because they had to go back and redo one of her eyes to get it better than 20/40.

Good luck man! I'm sure you'll be back to posting on the forums in no time. After all, you ARE the internet, right?

lmao...you've seen my sig from CRSX have you?

Well everything went great, even made it to the Raleigh TFT meet yesterday and went on the drive. Everyone was like "WTF...are you wearing goggles?" lulz.

Procedure went without delay or a hitch. It was uncomfortable and the best way I could describe it was it was a mock alien abduction...a lot of weird lights and lasers. That night it was a little itchy, but I woke up the next morning and everything was great, no discomfort to speak of. I just have to remember not to rub my eyes, which is hard after you put the drops in...you want to wipe the excess away and arent suppose to.

$3300 later I'd say it's worth it, but I really could have put that money toward paying off the S. Sadly Over two grand of it was FSA money, so if I didnt have it spend by the end of the year I was going to lose it! The really was the BEST way to spend it though.

Travers comes highly recommended, if any of you go though

***Be sure to say that the reason you are their is because Brett said they have hot staff members!!!*** <--- lettin yall in on the inside joke the staff and I played on the doctor. lmao.

haha yeah I was referring to your legendary status on crsx. Glad everything went well and you're satisfied with the outcome so far. Take it easy bud.

edit: speaking of crsx, you should join autotalkcrew.com. It'not a very active forum, but it's made up of pretty much every lulzy troll that once lurked the murky bowels of clubrsx. There isn't an over-abundance of threads, but at least they're all pretty funny. Hope to see you there, man.
