Default Tread Connection

S2KI-- not trying to solicit, just want to show off my transit build(which also shows off my new charlotte based company)

I haven't posted much race car build progress lately because I was busy getting married and helping my brother start a mobile tire company. We decked out a 2016 transit van with tire and car repair equipment/machines.

We installed a touchless leverless automated tire machine capable of changing any tire from a Ferrari to Prius without touching the rim surface or clamping the inner rim surface. The van is also equipped with a sonar road force balancer. The balancer tech is so new we have one the first dozen machines imported to the us from Italy. The van is also equipped with a custom micro quiet air compressor/tank (120 psi)and a micro quiet RV generator (w/ inline fuel from transit gas tank).
We have the ability to change any tire on location.
everything below patent pending.
Tread Connection TM.

Interesting concept. How much space is left for bringing tires to a customer? Curious to hear how cost compares to a traditional shop.

Its way past concept at this point. We have one fully operational van servicing residential cars/truck and 12 fleet companies onsite, two more vans in the fab process and a f150 tire runner. We have the one operational unit moving over 200 tires a month+ general tech work. This volume+minimal overhead allows us to sell tires with install on location and still beat the big box tire stores prices. My brother was a regional manager for goodyear prior to starting up Tread Connection, this also allowed us to gain access to warehouse pricing from day 1 and the prices will only continue to drop with added volume. The transit van in the pictures above can handle 4 appointments before it needs to have the damaged tires removed to make space, at this point the day is usually over or we will have the f150 runner assist.

That is a great option! What are his operating days/hours and prices for a set of 17in wheels/tires?

You can schedule an appointment on Tread-Connection.com. Our business hours are Monday-Saturday 8am-6pm. I don't want to upset S2ki by soliciting, but if your interested in a price quote or have any appointment questions please call the 1888 number and ask for Alex. If you already have my cell # your welcome to text me quote questions.

It's worth mentioning that Tread Connection is a title sponsor for SCCA's CCR region Solo program this year and they'll be on-site at every 2017 event to offer their services. Thanks for giving back to the programs in which we all love to participate.

Guys seriously, if you need tires for any of your vehicles and you're in charlotte you need to call Alex. He's cheaper than anywhere. Cheaper than Tire Rack on any of their tires, performance or otherwise. And it's stupid convenient. They've got their warehouse up and running, a few more vans coming online, and growing like crazy. It's amazing the deal he can make on an installed set of tires.
