I offer to maintaince and repairs on S2000s at a very good price, and I can get parts for a good price. Ask Andy,ClemsonS2k, blu_s2k, and DTMcnamera. Let me know what you need, and I can give you a quote. I work at the Porsche Jaguar dealer in Greenville.

I remember you now! From summer McDragon. You had the Mugen style hardtop and that sick front end! I'm terrible with names. Cars I remember though!

Yeah I'm kinda worried that the warning will still be on record for DBR... If I get pulled over again it will surely result in a ticket.

Mouse--I am starting to look into getting my top replaced with one that has a glass rear window. I also am worried that either my master/slave cylinder is going and am guessing that will have to be changed as well.

To everyone else--I am very interested in trying to install a top myself to save on labor, but how much equipment is needed? I also have the problem of not having a place to do the top swap--this is because my apt complex gets pissed when people work on their cars in the parking lot...

Equipment? Basic hand tools, a drill to drill out rivets, a rivet gun, hammer and anvil (unless you find the tool to do the smash style fasteners).

That as much as I can remember.

What is the vehicle doing to make you think that one of the cylinders is going bad? I believe that you can rebuild the master with new seals.

Well, noticed the other day when driving the car (the car isnt a daily driver anymore) that the clutch was very soft. It doesn't slip at all but just felt very soft--it has always been a very stiff clutch.

Anyways, I checked my clutch fluid levels and it was pretty low. I last changed my clutch fluid about 20k miles ago, but can't believe that the fluid would be low.

I bought some dot 3 brake fluid and topped it off this weekend and am going to keep an eye on it to see what happens to the fluid.

Where does everyone recommend that I buy the top from? Just curious to look at some vendors and check out prices.

I just had to buy a new top as well. The cheapest place I found was Topsonline.com. $519 shipped for a vinyl with glass window top.
